Specification for Class of
WCC CREW SUPERVISOR
Definition: Supervises a crew of Washington Conservation Corps members performing a variety of work assignments involving rehabilitation and enhancement of natural or other resources and provides coordination and assistance in the training and counseling of corps members for future employment.
Typical Work
Supervises corps members in the performance of assigned conservation enhancement work;
Coordinates the training of corps members in three agencies assigned work and other training for enhancement of future employability;
Counsels corps members on a variety of work related topics for enhancement of future employability;
Performs other work as assigned.
Knowledge and Abilities
Knowledge of: supervision, counseling and training of employees; conducting a variety of conservation/maintenance work.
Ability to: plan, organize, direct and coordinate assigned duties of corps members; counsel, train and motivate corps members for enhancement of future employability.
